Andy Parsons is a Board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Toledo in 2010 and Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from The Ohio State University in 2007. Currently, he specializes in outpatient PT in Defiance, OH with special interests in manual therapy, vestibular therapy, the spine, and evidence-based practice. He also lectures about knowledge translation of low back pain evidence and helps clinicians better utilize evidence-based practice in their day-to-day routines.
Andy is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through MedBridge. He has over 9 years of experience identifying and treating dizziness and balance problems.
Currently, Andy serves ProMedica Total Rehab as the Clinical Evidence-based Practice Team Lead and helps clinicians implement the best evidence into their clinical practice.
Andy's professional memberships include the American Physical Therapy Association and the Ohio Physical Therapy Association.
